I played the alpha, at the first days it was really laggie i had all the same imprensios u did, but evetually it became smooth, the game got really fun thought.
The first map (forest) is worst of all, other maps are very well constructed, but this forest really is bad…
Perfect world and Wizards colab worrys me because they are two f… greed companies.
Actually, there is a lot of content, in alpha we had about 20 hours (without farm) and about 4 maps, a plains, a forest, a dark city and a vulcan.
Funny that u bought MTG in shopingmalls, here in Brasil, mtg is only sold in very secret stores in alleys lol
im an old magic head too and this is awesome. i played all the games perfect world too. bought champions online when it came out. i just get triggered every time wander opens his library and never upgrades his cards … the copies are to upgrade your cards mate. 😛
"if you've ever played Diablo" 🙄 no dude iv never played video games before, what am doing here I thought this was a video on learning card magic tricks.
Hedrons are a central focus of zendikar story. Literally tied into the whole fabric of what makes zendikar the way it is. They were made by nihiri with ugins guidance to seal the eldrazi about 100 years ago. They've become integrated into the way mana is accessed onto the plane.
Game doesn't start getting good until way too long. Id say. You have to complete tazeem to unlock basic features. Then you have to complete another region to unlock more basic features and then it gets fun.
Gated way too long Imo. Most people are going to quit before then.
@1:13:22 "I don't even want to fight these things what does it even do for me?"
Yup! At a certain point you start earning planar mana to upgrade your realm. Then the gameplay loop feels more rewarding. Right now the game is 'meh' until you've already played for about 10 hours.
Jesus christ with the ads…
The game seems hardly worth the play time considering the other games that are out there. The card system seems to me like lightly veiled spell selection in a typical arpg. The audio levels are scuffed at base and the story that goes along with what I saw here seems unnecessary and poorly voiced.
Its only on pc at the moment. Its the pc open beta. There's no info about PS4 or xbox yet
I played a bit. it's only been out for a day and already the community is toxic as all hell. in game chat is a nightmare. people were spamming !claimfreepack literally all day and insulting people's mothers
After experiencing several hours of this yesterday, it's painfully obvious this is an affront to the MTG name. Nothing looked nor sounded good since their announcement, sadly, and it seems as though not much has changed.
They are using the exact same engine that is used in Neverwinter.
I remember perfect world had a monster hunter game where you fight creatures and brake parts from them than you can use a weapon from those parts like the crabs shell will brake than when you grab the shell you start using a shell hammer. It was pretty fun.
White is the worst colour in magic…
can you find the game anywere else. dont want to suport those scumbags of epic game store..
Poor translation of MTG mechanics into an action game. Where is the blue mage boss who straight up hardlocks your controls?
Enemies don't even fatally push you off of the stage on sight. Why is a non-blue character viable? This isn't respectable MTG.
For the people wondering if they should get into the game, this is developed/published by perfect world and Cryptic and quite possibly running in the same engine Champions, STO and Neverwinter run, soooooooo yeahh
Wander: Blue is hit or miss.
Yeah, with a blue deck I can say what is allowed to hit and what misses. Also all your good creatures are mine, just take a few of my scions as payment.
31:36 Not caught up on your MTG lore, eh?
oh man this seems really cheap game… that opening cutscene was rough
Atleast people know this exist now so they could support it so it does become great
Yeah this honestly doesnt look like a good game for me.
Let's taste all the colors I say as someone who enjoys every coler for thier own reasons.
!claimfreepack
Ok so terrible performance, unnecessary focus on the graphics to the point that the flashes may trigger seizures, not real connection to the magic game other than the theme, seems to be a mobile game with all that microtransactions, there does not seem to be a story… Honestly cannot really find something good to say about this other than on the first glance it seemed appealing and I like the idea of a magic ARPG.
Day[9] played for 3 hours and said almost the same harsh critics and even knowing the lore he agreed that the Hedrons setting was a bad choice for the first map of the game.
I heard people saying that it takes many more hours until you can customize anything and for the game to start to be fun, maybe more than 10 hours.
Looks more like a hack'n'slash than an RPG to me.
i would have preferred something like Magic: The Gathering – Battlegrounds from ye old Xbox would be more fun.
