So we played magic legends on launch day, we wanted to enjoy it we really did, but all we found was, bugs, bizarre design decisions, and endless grind, so we didn’t love it.

They have said in their update notes that they will be changing the tutorial and are working on getting players to play together much sooner, possibly right at the get go. They are doing a pretty good job at listening to community feedback and starting progress towards fixing those issues. For example they announced in a coming update you will get the starter decks of new classes you unlock. They also increased drop rates of new spells by double from original launch.
