The had a booth at Pax East 2020 and were pushing this game so hard.
Magic Legends was an excuse to push microtransactions on top of other microtransactions hiding some shitty boring chinese mobage crap.
It has nothing to do with mtg besides having the fucking name strapped onto itself.

I played the closed alpha build of this game and while I had some fun, I knew it was gonna get cancelled, I just had the feeling after playing it. And to add to that, I was excited for this game, played the closed alpha, and I didn't even know there was a beta.
Meh! Don't see how this was better than D&D:DA I seen your review on it and thought you were very harsh.

Sad that it will never be truly released. I don't get why. Magic games usually got an instant fanbase buying many things in their games.

The game is nothing special but its a fun fall back when you're kinda bored
SWTOR cutscenes look better than this, and it's a F2P MMO from 10 years ago.

The game is just so bland and boring. I couldn't see a progression or an evolution of your planeswalker. Maybe if enough people bought the $199.99 ZEN bundles they would've kept it going.
No wonder it was cancelled. I played it when it first came out, and it was so boring I couldn’t play pass the tutorials.
People forget. Magic the gathering is the original microtransactions game. Way back from early 2000's, "wizards of the coast" was bleeding people for "Magic the gathering online"… They proved people are willing to pay loads of money for random virtual cards, aka Nothing.
Ok it is in beta still and is canceled so why are they waiting for Oct to shut it down?

It's a shame Joe will never glance on gacha games. The economy there is way more f*cked up than this cancelled game while earning billions every month. And this game was already horrible. looking at you FGO
